Codex Core
🧩 [Codex Studios] CodexCore – Developer Bridge Library
Unify your RedM scripting across VORP, RSG, and TPZ-CORE.
💡 Overview
CodexCore is a core developer library used across almost all Codex scripts to connect VORP Core, RSG, and TPZ-CORE in a consistent way.
It gives you a shared API for players, inventory, money, events, and more so your scripts can be written once and adapted to multiple environments with minimal duplication.
🔔 Important for Developers
CodexCore is not a framework.
It will not automatically convert an RSG script into VORP or TPZ-CORE.
You still need to adapt your script to use CodexCore’s API for it to work across frameworks.
🔑 What CodexCore Does
✅ Provides a unified API for:
Player data & identifiers
Inventory and money operations
Job / character handling
✅ Normalizes calls between VORP, RSG, and TPZ-CORE.
✅ Acts as the base layer for:
Codex Trust Level
Codex shops & jobs
Robbery systems, moonshine, wagon chop, etc.
You script against CodexCore, and it handles the underlying framework-specific details.
⚙️ For Developers – How to Use It
CodexCore is meant for scripters, not plug-and-play end users:
You must integrate CodexCore into your own scripts:
Replace direct VORP/RSG/TPZ calls with CodexCore APIs.
Use its helpers for player, money, inventory, trust, etc.
It does not translate existing scripts automatically.
Ideal if you:
Maintain multiple framework versions of your scripts.
Plan to support or migrate between VORP, RSG, and TPZ-CORE.
Want a clean, future-proof abstraction layer.
🧠 Key Benefits
🧩 Multi-Framework Ready
One codebase, multiple supported cores (VORP, RSG, TPZ-CORE).🧼 Cleaner Codebase
Centralize framework-specific logic in one place instead of scattering checks everywhere.🛡️ Shared Security & Utility Layer
Plays nicely with Codex Anticheat, Trust Level, and other Codex systems.⚡ Performance-Aware Design
Lightweight helper layer that focuses on clarity and reliability without spamming your server.
