⛏️ Codex Mining Immersive RedM Mining System

Bring a complete and interactive free mining profession to your RedM server with Codex Mining.

Players can equip a physical pickaxe, travel to configured mining zones, complete skill-based mining actions, and collect a wide range of valuable materials. The system includes pickaxe durability, weighted rewards, inventory checks, job restrictions, Discord logging, and extensive configuration options.

⭐ Main Features

⛏️ Interactive Mining Gameplay

  • Equip and unequip a usable pickaxe directly from the inventory.
  • Physical pickaxe prop displayed in the player’s hands.
  • Authentic mining animations.
  • RedM prompt-based interactions.
  • Multi-stage skill checks determine whether mining succeeds.
  • Failed attempts can consume additional pickaxe durability.

🗺️ Multiple Mining Locations

Includes preconfigured mining areas at:

  • Annesburg
  • Big Valley
  • Tumbleweed

Each location supports:

  • Custom map blips
  • Multiple mining interaction points
  • Configurable level requirements

  • Custom labels and coordinates

Additional mining zones can easily be added through the configuration.

💎 Configurable Mining Rewards

Create unique reward pools for every mining location.

Supported configuration includes:

  • Item name
  • Display label
  • Drop chance
  • Minimum quantity
  • Maximum quantity

The included reward pool features:

  • Rocks
  • Coal

🛠️ Pickaxe Durability

Codex Mining integrates directly with Codex Durability.

  • Displays the pickaxe’s current durability.
  • Removes durability after mining attempts.
  • Supports different durability loss for successful and failed attempts.
  • Automatically removes the pickaxe from the player’s hands when it becomes unusable.
  • Durability loss can be disabled through the configuration.

🎯 Skill-Based Mining

Mining is not simply a progress bar.

Players must complete a configurable sequence of skill checks before receiving a reward. Difficulty levels and the number of required checks can be adjusted to create easier or more challenging mining gameplay.

👷 Optional Miner Job Restriction

Mining can be available to everyone or restricted to a specific job.

Config.Job = 'miner'
Config.OnlyJob = false

Enable the restriction to create a dedicated mining profession or leave it disabled for public mining.

🎒 Inventory Protection

Before giving a mining reward, the system checks whether the player has enough inventory capacity.

When the player cannot carry the reward, the items are not added and an appropriate notification is displayed.

📋 Discord Logging

Optional Discord webhook logging records successful mining rewards, including:

  • Player name
  • Player identifier
  • Character identifier
  • Reward item
  • Reward quantity

Webhook logging can be enabled, disabled, and customized from the configuration.
